Bombay, India

Who introduced you to your first Flame?
A guy who called himself Aquil Unia. He worked at Western Outdoor in Bombay.
When did you fall for your first Flame?
The year was 2000. I walked into Western Outdoor after college for a lazy late night interview (recommended by my sister). I saw Flame for the first time in the dim...yet sensual...light. It was love at first sight.
Why did you fall in love with your Flame?
Because she could do all the various things I dreamed of achieving. Visual effects is so much fun when a Flame is part of the pipeline.
What is your proudest Flame moment?
I'm proud of Flame after every successful delivery, and reassured of its dependability on each project. Flame is the best.
How did your Flame save the day?
Even though Flame is a great tool for damage control, its toolset gives the artist a lot of support. And the very fact that it can keep up with the artist's speed of thought is a saving grace in its own right.
Favorite Flame project (my own):
Chocolate, Coke, Onida Xaria.
Favorite Flame project (by another artist):
Each project is great in its own way.
Were you ever unfaithful to your Flame?
Once I was unfaithful, but only because the machine was booked and I just couldn't finish my project on it. So I used Shake to deliver a hair oil commercial.
What keeps you coming back for more?
Speed, dependability, and Batch, Batch, Batch. Also the tracker, masking capabilities, Colour Warper, extended bicubic, resolution independence...
My Flame wisdom:
Be nice to your Flame and your Flame will be nice to you.
